Approximately 8 months ago I was troubled with intermittant dull pain in
my left leg. Sometimes it was so intense I was unable to keep standing or
walking until the pain subsided. I was suspicious of sciatic nerve pain or
clinical "sciatica".
I consulted a chiropracter who confirmed a diagnosis of sciatica, and
treated me for spinal realignment in the lower back (lumbosacral area} and
there was immediately a 70% reduction of the pain. Three days later and
another spinal adjustment and the pain was gone.
I have since continued weekly prophylactic chiropractic treatments at the
Chiropractic Wellness Studio in Morrisville, N.C.. I have also been
instructed in some floor exercises to strengthen the lower back muscles
and prevent further lower back problems and have had no further pain.
At the Chiropractic Wellness Studio I have been given useful information
on an improved pillow to prevent an occasional "stiff neck" and have had
relief of that condition both from better use of a good pillow and
corrective chiropractic manipulation of the neck.
I would certainly recommend chiropractic treatment for many aches and
pains that can occur with daily occupational stresses and also the common
joint problems associated with aging.
